Music & Creativity:

Collaboration

 Original Music - Koral Blue

Koral Blue is an electronic pop collaboration between Spencer Camacho and Tristan Cappel. The musicians met during an electronic music composition class at NYU. Koral Blue’s sound finds its roots in both their experiences; Tristan’s jazz studies and electronic production training and Spencer’s classical studies and vocal and a cappella background. They recently debuted their first single “Throw It Away” below:

“Embrace the change in the world.”

We are living in unprecedented times. While the world has undergone many hardships the past year and a half, it is important to also acknowledge the good. As we enter the fall, we collectively turn the page, and while it may not be the end of this COVID chapter, we still can watch the daybreak.

UArts Collaborative

As Spencer entered a new chapter at NYU, he was lucky enough to meet new friends: talented UArts alumni who also lived in his new apartment building. They joined him in his Daybreak Collaborative, revitalizing their sense of performance and musicianship in the arts.

Give a voice to talented artists.

Just as Spencer hoped to share the talent of his collaborators, he was particularly selective in repertoire selection. He chose artists who he believed held great skill and talent yet are not chart toppers. His hope in any cover performance is to continue sharing great music of less recognized artists.

Spencer & Sophia: Music & Art

Collaborative - Sophia

Sophia Camacho, 21 year-old fine arts major at Millersville University, is Spencer’s younger sister. Artistic since a very young age, Sophia has always traveled with sketchbook and pencil in hand.

Recognizing her gifts in drawing and painting, Spencer is grateful for his collaborations with his sister, as she brings his auditory work to life through her visual art.

Original Music - Whalesine

Whalesine is a music collaboration between Bram Baumstein and Spencer Camacho. Former president and music director of West Chester University's Under A Rest A Cappella, Bram and Spencer sought to continue singing together and began songwriting during the beginning of COVID. As Whalesine continues preparing to release their first collection of original music, they found BOSS to be the perfect debut opportunity for Whalesine to share their music with the world. Check out “Bloom” Below.

Bloom was selected as the only song to represent the Original Community Short Form Showcase at Boston Sings 2021. It was also played at the Aarhus Vocal Festival in Denmark.
